$84,965.00

Lyrebird Community Centre in Carrum Downs is in need of bringing its Centre into the 21st century by installing equipment that better suits the Centre’s needs.
This will modernize audio visual equipment and upgrade the old-fashioned furniture that the community access every day.
Funds from Pick My Project will help Lyrebird achieve this goal, allowing them to engage with more community members and ensure that participation is a positive and valuable.

This project will encourage more participation from residents in the Carrum Downs and Skye communities.
There are many benefits to improving the quality of service provided at the Centre including opportunities to prevent isolation for people from diverse backgrounds and disadvantaged community members.
Lyrebird has been serving the community for 30 years, providing a diverse variety of courses, programs and activities that cater for all community members from early childhood to senior citizens.
Pick My Project will help them to purchase much needed equipment.

The Centre provides a wide range of services to the local community and is well deserving of the funding requested.

Very deserving Centre for new upgrade. They have so many people requiring education and help. They don't get enough funding to make all these things happen.
